I wanted to have Edna in a reclining pose. We don't have the right kind of pillows or props to make a good reclining setting so I ended up doing my own setting. So did some of the others painting that evening. Rebeca put Edna lying on a hillside.
Usually I show the whole body of the model on a half 140 lb. watercolor sheet, 22 x 15. Since the time was much shorter I painted a portrait, 15 x 11, on 300 lb. Georgianna
This is a 20 x 20" oil on canvas, done in the same style as the one I did of David. I loved the round forms and colors in this setup, and although I did not paint the still life, I appreciated its presence. Thanks Vicki! Rebeca Garcia-Gonzalez
