Prudence & Jennings

I did about six drawings of Jennings. This pencil portrait is my favorite. The drawing of his hands is done in pastel and china marker on paper treated with gouache and sauce. The session with Prudence was difficult because a power failure forced us to draw in the dark for over an hour.

  1. These are all pretty powerful drawing even the ones you did in the dark. You are really taking control of the space in these in a clear and singular way that makes them so strong. I particulary like the arms and legs.
