Jennings Models at the Firehouse

I did the portrait study of Jennings in one session.  It happended there was a white wall background behind the model this time.  I painted the portrait loosely and with bold brush strokes.  It was an oil on a 11" x 14" canvas panel.    Philip Ng

  1. Beautiful job. I love how you highlighted the face with small white areas. The blues, reds, and other unexpected colors in the hair create a strong sense of volume and an illusion of detail. Your style has a soft, gauzy quality that's very expressive.
