I am a little behind in my posting. I loved the red dress she was wearing and was also pleased I was able to do one I liked painting over an old canvas. Usually the texture underneath is hard to deal with but this time it worked for me. It is 22 by 28 acrylic on canvas.
This painting has a wonderful rhythm. I love the red dress and the lavender background. The vertical rectangle in the middle, with its pale yellows and blues, breaks up the space very well. Very strong piece!
