We had two very vibrant models at the Firehouse sessions last week, Sonia and Prudence. In the evening session Sonia modeled in a new bright red floor length dress that had a scalloped hem. The group did some wonderful paintings of her and I used bold colors to record what was going on in the room. It is an 18 by 24 acrylic on canvas. Karen
Nice job, Karen! I like the color transitions from the red dress at the right to the increasingly green tones at the left, and from the dark values at the bottom to the lighter values at the top. The model's face has just enough detail to read as 3D, without getting bogged down.
