Last night I drew Inky for the first time. She's a wonderful model. She wore a great, colorful quasi-pirate costume that would have been fun to draw, but unfortunately I used up all my time on head studies. Figurative pieces by a very diverse group of oil, pencil, pastel, watermedia, and acrylic artists of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Emily
Emily
This was my first opportunity to draw Emily, who is new to the Guild. She took off her glasses for the pose. The first drawing is in charcoal on paper. The second is in pastel on paper treated with pastel ground. I made her chair lavender in the pastel drawing, but am not sure about the lavender now.
David
This drawing is in charcoal on paper. I also did a couple in pastel, but they didn't turn out very well.
